I recently updated windows, to realize that windows+shift+s now uses "Snip and sketch". It looks nice and all, but it doesn't seem be able to capture anything that is in full screen mode, and instead captures the desktop. Unlike the old snipping tool. I had no issue with it and was able to screenshot basically any full screen game.
